Forest Violette’s New Rock & Roll Zen

Forest Violette is well known to rock & roll fans in Atlanta, as the lead singer of two popular local bands. Recently signed to Iron Gate Records in Nashville, a label co-owned by Greg Upchurch of 3 Doors Down, he made his solo debut in 2023 with a string of successful singles like “Never Saw God” and “Can’t Get There From Here”. Those tracks introduced a dynamic and versatile singer-songwriter.

Originally from Oregon, Forest Violette relocated to the ATL over a decade ago, and soon began to establish himself as a go-to talent in that city’s world-renowned music scene. In addition to his work as a solo artist, Forest also performs regularly with popular cover band Silver Tongue and original heavy rock group VoltageHead. His latest single is a collaboration with that band’s guitarist, Sean Martin.

“Room to Breathe” is the latest single and video from Forest Violette, released worldwide via all major streaming services on November 3, 2023. Martin accompanies the singer on a solo acoustic guitar. The duo delivers an emotional late-night encore ballad about finding a bit of zen in an evermore troubling world.
